Being the Principal of this school, I take the opportunity to thank you all for being present here on this auspicious occasion. 14th November is celebrated as Children’s Day all over India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
Various schools like us celebrate this function with lot of enthusiasm and motivation. We too collectively engage in activities that will make our students happy as it’s their day. Childhood is a special phase of life and you all should live life to the fullest during this time. I still remember when I was a child; we received an opportunity in our school to enact like our teachers and it used to be fun performing those acts with gratification.
Today I want to share something special with you, all which you can consider as a piece of advice. Childhood is both an enjoyable phase of life and at the same time it is also considered to be a sensitive phase. In contemporary scenario there are several crimes that are taking place against children. We and you all need to be careful at every moment in life whether you are at home or school.
You should always remember that we are here today because you all have motivated us to guide you all. Teachers become educators not only because of knowledge but you students play a very important role in our lives. You make us understand who we are and what we mean to you. We too commit mistakes at certain occasions but you all help us realize those mistakes. Sometimes we underestimate your strengths but you all proved us that every student present here has some or the other capabilities hidden inside you.
Jawaharlal Nehru was considered to be a great leader as well as a polished statesman but the one thing that was admired about him was his love for children. He appealed to children that always climb the ladder of success with utmost dignity and respect. Children are the building blocks of our nation and we should help them grow in an optimistic manner. If a country seems to be developed and prosperous, the only reason is the young minds behind this aspect.
You have new and innovative ideas to make our nation proud. We cannot ignore your involvement and contribution in the life of parents, teachers and other people related to you in your life. Children are liked by everyone and without children life becomes very boring and dull. You are the guiding lights in our lives. You all are blessed by God and conquer our hearts with your beautiful eyes, innocent activities and smiles. Children’s Day is celebrated every year to pay tribute to all the children all over the world.
Therefore, to make this occasion happier, we have arranged certain stage shows for you all so that we can bring smiles on your face. May all your wishes be fulfilled.

Hon’ble vice Principal, Respected Teachers and Dear Students – Good Morning to All!
14th November is a wonderful day when we get an opportunity to celebrate Children’s Day. Every occasion that is celebrated in the entire year, you students plan something or the other for us, but this day we get an opportunity to do something for you all.
Do you all know why is Children’s Day celebrated? It is also the birth anniversary of Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minster of India after independence.. He was the only leader of our country who loved children to any extent possible. Pundit Nehru was enthusiastic and warm hearted towards children especially about their welfare, rights, education and overall improvement in order to make India a developed nation.
He had an inspiring and motivating nature, he always inspired children to work hard and be courageous and brave as this is what works to attain success in life. He was very much concerned about the health and welfare of the children in India, so he worked hard for the children so that they could receive what they deserved which includes their rights to education and healthcare.
He was regarded as Chacha Nehru by children because of his self-effacing affection to them. He always favored young minds like you all and supported them to live proper childhood without any personal, national, family and financial burden and learning good moral values; because, you are the future of the nation and responsible for our country’s development.
Childhood becomes the best phase of life which should be healthy and happy for every child so that they can be ready to lead their nation ahead. If the children are unhealthy from mind and body, they cannot give their best to their nation in future. So, the childhood phase of life is the most significant phase which every parent and teacher should nourish with their love, care and affection. As being the citizen of the country, we should understand our responsibilities and save the future of the nation.
It becomes our duty to protect you throughout your school life. Thus, it becomes important not only to impart conventional education and knowledge, rather it becomes necessary to teach certain principles in life which would support you all in your future endeavors.
In today’s scenario, children are becoming victims of many social evils like drugs, child abuse, alcohol, sex, hard labor, violence, etc. They are required to earn money, forced by their parents. They are coerced to work hard at a very young age. This leads them to a life of isolation from parent’s love, education, knowledge etc. Children’s Day celebration helps us to think again and again about the status of children in our country. Children are the valuable asset of the nation as well as future and hope of tomorrow, so they should get proper care and love.
Thus, we all should collectively take initiative to help underprivileged children which would give them a life which they deserve.
Thank You!
Respected vice Principal, Teachers and Loving Students – I being the Principal of this school welcome you all to this wonderful occasion of Children’s Day which is celebrated every year on 14th November with joy and happiness.
We all take this opportunity to thank you all for being present on this occasion. This day is celebrated across the world with joy and delight and we collectively promise you all that you too will enjoy this day whole heartedly with gratification.
The future of our nation depends on the way we treat our children today; the way we nurture them and the moral values we instill. It is therefore necessary that we provide our children; protection and progress. Protection from – child labor, malnutrition, illiteracy etc and progress through education, love and good moral values.
There had been many laws enacted by the Government of India, which protect the children against various offences and also make it mandatory to provide to every child- education, food, proper medical care etc.
Today free of cost meals are mandatorily served in all the government schools across the whole India. More girls are going to school today; dispelling the most common notion about a girl child’s education.
There are several other measures initiated by the Government as changes in the social and economic structure of India have intensified the need for universal elementary children education. The formidable challenges before the Indian Government are to provide high quality early childhood education programs, to preserve indigenous practices such as multilingualism, community involvement, participation of older children as caretakers of their younger siblings, and to provide elementary education to all children despite serious financial constraints.
Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru was considered to be a strong statesman who too wanted that young minds like you should grow and achieve great heights. He believed that children are the future generation of any country and if they are satisfied and content, it is only then, that we can progress as a Nation.
There are certain social evils prevalent in our society which hinders the growth of our country; Child labor is one of them. Child labor is a serious matter and both Union Government as well as State Governments of India has taken several measures to deal with this menace. Child Labor has received increasing global attention especially at the forum of International Labor Organization and United Nations.
There are children like you all, who do not get proper schooling and knowledge to accomplish their goals in life. They are forced to adopt a life which is not what they deserve. They are exploited to the core and not given an opportunity to enjoy festivals or any kind of occasion. Their lives are dull without any kind of enjoyment. You all should come together and help and support these children. You all can achieve this aspect by taking small steps.
Firstly, you all can donate your old books and food to underprivileged children which will help them to attain their dreams. Contribute blankets as winter is just round the corner to protect them from the chilling weather.
These are the small steps that you can take in order to bring a small change in the life of these children. I hope I have been able to sensitize you all about the rising problems in our society and this was the appropriate opportunity to speak about this issue. I once again wish you all a Happy Children’s Day.
Thank You!
Good Morning Everyone! I, Principal of this school, take immense pleasure to welcome you all on this wonderful occasion of Children’s Day.
All the teachers of this school, along years have built some wonderful memories with you students. We respect your gratitude towards us but today is the day when we have planned to make your day a memorable one.
I believe that teachers become educators not only because of knowledge but you students play a very important role in our lives. You make us understand who we are and what we mean to you. We commit mistakes on certain occasions but you all help us realize those faults. In certain circumstances we underestimate your strengths, but your abilities and capabilities force us to bow down before you.
There are several instances when we scold you for your mistakes but this does not justify that we dislike you all. We do this because we all love and admire you and want to prepare you as students for greater challenges in life. We want that you all should climb the ladder of success and there should never be a look back again. Our happiness and grief are connected to you all. When you are sad we too feel miserable and at that moment we just want that you should get up and fight with those instances and adopt a never give up attitude.
We feel proud of your achievements over the years in studies or extracurricular activities. We understand that every individual has different abilities and we help you discover that by pointing your mistakes so that you realize where you are being incorrect in life. Your sweet memories and gestures towards us will and have always remained in our hearts.
We always and will persuade you all to move in the right direction through which you gain success. Even students, if you fail at any given point in life then always remember my saying that “after every dawn there is a sunrise”. Failures will always make you stronger and you should work towards turning your weaknesses into strengths. Always showcase a never give up attitude.
At this point I would give you an advice; that, my dear students always see yourselves as good human beings and nurture the right attitude. Never forget that you should respect and show gratitude to those who help you in your lives. Never allow negative thinking influence your personality as it will always lead you to a wrong path. Be kind and fair to all human beings and we pray to god to guide you all on the right path through which you achieve greatness and optimistic thinking and values.
On behalf of my teachers, I thank you all for being present here and would want that you all enjoy this day to the fullest. Wishing you all a very Happy Children’s Day and wish you the best for your future endeavors. May god bless you all!
Thank You!
